Glossary of Terms

Supplier Minimum:
Every supplier has an overall dollar amount that must be met before an order can be processed. The Supplier minimum can be met with a variety of product all from the same supplier.

Minimum Quantity:
Some products require a specific number of the same product to be bought. Once that minimum amount has been met then any number of that product can be ordered.

Units per Pack:
This type of product comes in specifics quantities, and can only be ordered in multiples of those quantities.

Lead Time: This is the time it takes the supplier to process the order and get it prepared for shipment. It does not include shipping time to a stores location.

Shipping Percentage: This is the amount per supplier that is charged for shipping. It is a percentage of the subtotal.

Handling Charges:
Suppliers that have product that requires extra packing materials for fragile items, oversized or heavy items may have an additional charge added to cover these additional costs.

Federal Tax Id:
GHMconnect.com sells only to retailers; we require proof of your status as a business and a reseller. Some states require a tax id (or ein number) and a reseller number; other states may only require one of these numbers. We ask that you supply us with this information for tax purposes, as we may only sell to retailers and not to consumers. Since we do not charge sales tax, we must have these numbers in our files as proof of your business.
